Fine Art Prints vs. Giclee Print - What's what? How to choose? How much do they cost?
A brief breakdown of the two and what they are and what to choose.
I think both are beautiful when done by a quality printer, but depending upon which final look you want you may want to investigate each to decide.
ART PRINTS:
Usually on paper and more affordable options. Beautiful when framed!
These are printed on archival museum-quality paper; ready to frame.
GICLEES:
Often on canvas, though fine art paper is also an option. These are high-resolution (higher-end) prints and will often more closely resemble the original piece.
PRICING EXAMPLES
