2022's hottest artistic trends

A design marketplace called 1stDibs just published its annual Interior Design Trends Survey. The top color, design, and art trends for 2022 were discussed by more than 750 design professionals from around the world.
As the only style that a majority of respondents (54%) said they would use, abstract art is expected to be the most popular this year. Modern and contemporary are the next two most popular types. (I obviously LOVE this!)
With 48% of designers indicating they want to use sculpture more and 41% saying they will use it the same amount each year, designers also anticipated using it more to decorate.
More than half of the designers said they will use drawings, pictures, paintings, and prints in projects at the same rate every year, indicating that these mediums will continue to be in demand.
In their designs, 17% of designers indicated they would use fewer posters and other detritus, while 44% said they already don't.
